The Greenwood School is a private, nonprofit school. It receives no monies from state, federal or religious institutions; therefore, our sources of revenue are tuition, annual giving and endowments.

Gifts are important to Greenwood’s overall financial health and vitality. We are pleased that so many alumni, parents, grandparents and friends support the school in this way. Greenwood would not be the school it is without your support.

Greenwood is excited to have a growing endowment and welcomes new partners to help us reach our endowment goal of $5,000,000. Every year as a current parent or an alumnus, you will receive a request for financial support for Greenwood. We understand that many parents feel their tuition is substantial and should be enough of a contribution.

However, please understand that tuition does not cover the full cost of educating a Greenwood student and that the gifts we receive enable us to balance the budget each year. Your contribution, whatever its size, goes right to the bottom line and the basics, whether it is new classroom equipment or teacher salaries. The goal of annual giving is 100 percent parent participation. Please do your part!“
